Sick & Cancellation Policy

At Little coastal‘s our top priority is the health and well-being of our children, families and caregivers.

This policy applies to all bookings and is designed to support both families and caregivers

with fairness and care.

Child Illness

Care cannot be provided if a child has experienced any of the following within the past 24 hours: fever

of 100.4°F (38°C) or higher, vomiting or diarrhea, contagious illnesses (including flu, COVID-19, RSV,

strep throat, pink eye, or hand-foot-and-mouth disease), or undiagnosed rashes or open sores.

If a child becomes ill during a scheduled booking, care may need to end early. Charges still apply per

the cancellation policy.

Caregiver Illness or Emergency

If a caregiver becomes ill or has an emergency, we will attempt to provide a replacement. If

unavailable, a full refund or account credit will be issued.

Cancellation Policy (48-Hour Notice)

• More than 48 hours’ notice: Full refund or credit

• 48 hours or less notice: 50% of the booking charged

• Same-day cancellations (within 6 hours) or no-shows: 100% charged

Cancellations Due to Child Illness

Cancellations due to child illness are subject to the same 48-hour policy, as caregivers reserve this time

exclusively. A one-time courtesy credit may be offered at our discretion.

Late Start or Early End

Bookings are billed based on scheduled time. Late arrivals or early endings do not reduce charges.
